When the party needed someone to ride the lift button so the rest could climb, he volunteered without being asked, on one condition — that Jax gets out.
…They threw the levers — mostly to free Jax, partly because Kael Vass would rather be owed a favor than watch his back forever.
The sealed gen-pop wing off this area held Korlok, Jax, Mira Doss and a crowd of others until the party threw the two manual levers.
