It overlooks the cell block's main floor behind bulletproof glass and one heavy door. Whoever holds it holds the floor's only working comm relay and a console that can flood the entire block with riot glass.

Corporal Wexel locked himself in and nearly used it.

Past the tower is the guard room and the lift. The lift only runs while someone holds the button down — at the bottom or at the top, the whole way.
